My Story

If you’ve ever felt disconnected from your body or stuck in workouts that feel rigid, draining, or repetitive, I’ve been there too. My journey started when I was four years old, a wild ball of energy whose parents put her in ballet class to channel all that movement. That first class became the beginning of a lifelong love for rhythm, music, and the way movement can shift our entire emotional state.

At 21, I moved to NYC with nothing but a dream and spent the next decade performing in dance companies, musical theater tours, & cruise ships. Fitness funded my life between gigs, teaching every style under the sun: yoga, barre, dance cardio, strength, HIIT, sculpt, pre/post-natal, hot Pilates. My life was movement and I found myself cycling in and out of burnout throughout the years. It wasn’t until I stepped away from professional dance, took a 9–5 job, and truly listened to my body as a working woman that I realized something big: our bodies don’t want the same workout every day.

There are seasons of power and seasons of softness and there’s always a rhythm between them.

​

When I began training intuitively, mixing dance-based cardio with strength, sculpt, and grounding yoga flows, I found the most effective and joyful way I had ever moved. It improved my energy, my strength, my mental clarity, and my relationship with my body. Little did I know that finding days of softness to contrast the power was actually great for my body and I started seeing the best physical results of my life! I knew I had to share what I had been doing.

That’s how Rhythmyk was born: a method that honors the dancer’s mindset of stamina, technique, length, and fluidity, while grounding everything in functional movement and flow. Rhythmyk helps you build lean muscle, improve cardiovascular health, elevate your mood, and create a sustainable movement rhythm that supports your everyday life. And yes, you will also get a nice booty lift too!
